I'm  52 years old and I've been obese for about 40 years. My highest weight was probably around 350 or 360 lbs. I have lost 120 lbs on two separate occasions. Unfortunately, I gained it all back. I have been diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and heart issues. I chose the sleeve gastrectomy surgery because I felt that the key to my success with permanent weight loss would be a smaller stomach.
