Hello! My name is Chelsea and I live in St. Louis, MO. I am 23 years old and I have been obese my ENTIRE life. I have always had health problems and they have just gotten worse over time. After the aches and pains, having no energy and depression I decided to start the process of having RNY surgery.
I have a wonderful support group in my mother, sister, my wonderful boyfriend and his mother. My boyfriend and his mother have also had RNY and they are doing great!
So far I have my psych eval, surgeon's consult, and dietitian consult scheduled. I have had my first rounds of labs done (found some liver damage). All I'm waiting for now is the official ok from insurance so I can schedule my class and my surgery!!!
