Life Journey

Jan 17, 2011

Story of my life. I was soooo excited to have the VBG and start using my new tool. Things were going great and life was good. I went to nursing school and suprisingly continued to lose weight during clinicals. I was working out everyday and was running 3-4 miles a day. Then graduation was coming up fast and my husband and I were splitting up. Things were changing so fast that I lost focus on eating right and working out. Working my tool was the last thing on my mind. I started eating sugar rich foods, drinking cokes, and drinking alcohol when I would go out with friends. It got out of control. So now things have settled down, two years have passed, and I have put on 60 lbs. I am miserable...not just because of the weight gain but because I have allowed myself to get to this point. I was in a size 10-12 pants and now I'm back up to a 18-20 pant. I have decided to get a revision to a RNY because I have stretched my pouch with all my poor eating habits. So my journey begins again. I will survive...
