I have just had my 4 year anniversary for my lap band surgery. I have to say I am terribly dissapointed. I have had so many fills and unfills that I can't remeber. I started out at 256 and I am now at my lowest point, 228. After 4 years I have lost 28 pounds. Not what I was expecting from weight loss surgery. The only good point is that I have had very few complications and at least the weight has stayed off. My goal was to get under 200 pounds. I am 57 years old and I am started to doubt that it willl ever happen for me. If I had it to do over I would probably get the sleeve instead.

I have only lost 14 pounds in the first 2 months. I just got my 2nd fill and i finally have restriction. I can't weight for the weight loss to start moving.
