Have cravings been reduced since surgery?

Hi, I'm in the full liquid phase post op.  I am craving everything and anything but I'm assuming that's because I haven't chewed for a month.  Once you start eating, do you eat to live? If you were someone that gave into your cravings in your pre-op life, do you crave less now that a good part of your stomach that produced ghrelin is gone? Thanks for answering.
