Baby Steps towards success

so far I haven't changed much, but I have cut out snacking at the computer and while watching TV in the afternoons.  Those are HARD changes cause they're long-time habits.  I've also not bought any soda to keep at home; if it's not here, I can't drink it right?  And haven't really been out shopping or eating so I had a soda yesterday at McD's (ouch, that meal hurt my day) and will just NOT have any today at all regardless of where I go / what I do.

Otherwse not much to report except for 3 pounds lost so far since signing up on Sunday.  Whoo hoo!!

Just starting here today...

A friend led me here as I continue to fight my weight battle.  Long story short I'm 29 years old, a mom of a very young son and two great young adult step-daughters.  I also live with cancer and according to my oncologist weight is a big factor in my cancer reoccuring once again.  (I've been thru it twice now).

I hope to be able to utilize the tools here to get my weight under control, research BS avenues, and in general learn more about myself and why I seem to be addicted to carbohydrate foods.

So we shall see where this leads...
