Hello!! David and I saw Glenn last night at the Hospital. He is doing absolutely FANTASTIC! I wish *I* would have looked that good 2 days after my surgery! He was doing a breathing treatment when we walked in. I was shocked at how much he could breathe so deeply! I absolutely love his mom. She was shocked that David and I had surgery and she felt better about Glenn's decision after seeing the success that David and I have had. His Partner is very sweet too! David and I feel very fortunate to meet them both.

Glenn said that he made 3 trips to the nurses station yesterday~! Woo Hoo!!! He did have some leaking from the incision but that is normal. Unfortunately he had some nurses that weren't familiar with this surgery and they started freaking. Well that didn't help Glenn out much but he kept his cool. They changed his bandages and he is fine. A bariatric nurse friend of his came around to visit and had to tell them that its normal. I believe he has 42 staples and he is moving around wonderfully! They got him a bariatric bed and he looks great and seems comfortable.

Glenn.. you are doing so so very well. I wish you continued success on your journey. David and I are here for you if you need us or not. Just remember to drink your water and chew, chew, chew!! I have rarely seen someone that looks as good as you right after surgery. I can tell that you have the determination in your heart to do what it takes. I hope when you go back to Cinci we can keep in touch on a regular basis and we can come visit you. It will be sooo much fun to experience this again thru someone else. Being at goal is wonderful but I do miss the excitement of dropping sizes, shopping and freaking out when you drop a size sooner than you expected. Enjoy this journey sweetie, you are in for the time of your life! Start writing out a "dream" list because honey, they will start coming true! We love you bunches and will see you tonight. ~~~~~ Dana and David
