I am 38 years old and have a wife and to kids.  Ever since I was young kid I was always overweight.  I remember Sears was the only place my mom could buy pants( Husky).  In the 7th grade I was 230lbs, even have the peewee football program to prove it.  I continued to gain wait until I was in the 10th grade and started working at a lumber yard.  Then I was 395 and was able to loose down to 235 due to work and football workouts.  My weight continued to yo-yo through college then it just started climbing.  When I reached 399 I was at a point to do something.  I unofficially followed WeightWatchers plan and was able to drop down to 345.  Estatic over the loss life was going great.  Then job stress and changing of jobs brought on another weight gain that gradually ended at 450.  Within the last two years I had significant back trouble and decided that If I wanted to live another 5 years I had better do something.  That is when I started looking into Gastric Surgery.  I started the program at ECU and finally had my surgery on the 14th.  While in the hospital I got dehydrated and had to stay an extra day, which meant coming home on my birthday.  From now on my birthday will have two meanings.  First is my actual birthday, and the second is the day I started the rest of my life with goal of being normal size....
