I am 6 days out of surgery and things are going great.  My incisions are healing very well and are starting to become a little itchy today.  :(  I am struggling to get my calories and protein on a full fluid diet, but I have one more week of it.  I am about 10 lbs down since the day of surgery... yikes... That is most likely because I didn't eat a thing for the first 3 days.  Every day is getting better though and I am adding more calories on.  I am finding food difficult and am craving something of substance. I want some meat or something besides fluids.. :(
I am getting up and about lots, but I guess one would expect that in a household that doesn't run without me.. lol  I am a little grouchy and senstive lately and not sure why.  I think i feel like i'm grieving food or something.. don't know.   anyways, so far, so good..
I have met a great bunch of gals from on here and am so appreciative of them.. Thank you Chance and Sarah for coming to see me in the hospital..  :)  My future is bright and I start school on Sept 26.. :)  I will update soon again :)

YIkes..... I have 3 weeks to the day, for my surgery booking...  I am soooo excited and sooo scared    I am sure I will be fine..  I don't have a lot of support at home, as alot of people don't think I need it and I have always been an independant person to find the solutions to all my own problems.  
I find myself scared sometimes with no one to talk to about this.  My boyfriend of 17 yrs is fine with me having it, but won't take off time to even drive me there.  So I will be all alone, but that's ok... I can do it, I've done it before in  the hospital.   I will have plans made though for my children and me to get home cause I have awesome friends here in Beaumont.  Anyways, I must be in a sorry me mode, because I am babbling or it is the ADHD that they diagnosed me with at the clinic.. lol   Yeah, I'll go with that :)

Yay!  I finally got a date..  phoned Lorraine from the Surgical Booking today and am all booked up for Sept 7, 2011 :)  I saw the surgeon and got approved on March 31, 2011.  Time is flying
