Consultation w/Dr Brown's office

I had my consultation w/Dr. Brown's office yesterday. I was feeling a little discouraged because I have to lose weight before they will consider the surgery. The dietician put me on a low fat/lean diet and we're hoping the lbs will come off quickly. I'm feeling optimistic, at least it's a start.

I originally starting looking into this surgery in 2008 but I've changed jobs several times and insurance companies which has really caused a delay. Having received the initial approval makes me feel like I'm moving in the right direction.
