I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. I was always the biggest out of all my friends growing up and I was always self-conscious about my weight. When I graduated high school I was a size 18. By the time I got married at 23 I was a size 24. Now at 31 I am a size 30. I have PCOS, Hypothyroidism, arthritis and Sleep Apnea. I have no energy to play with my 7 year old daughter and I get tired walking through Wal-mart. I can't fit in most of the rides at amusement parks and I struggle with booths at most restaurants. I feel tired and miserable all the time. I'm ashamed of myself for getting this big. This is why I am having the VSG ON 5/5/2014. It is not to look pretty or sexy but to be healthy, have energy, and hopefully happy. My journey is about to begin!
