"My first impression of Dr. Alvarez was that he is a kind hearted man who truly loves his job. He and his staff made me feel comfortable and calm. He was VERY thorough in answering my questions and even brought up some I hadn't thought about. I truly felt that I was in very competent and capable hands. His staff was very friendly and kind as well. On a scale of 1-10, I give him a 20! His bedside manner was great and I had no doubts at all about my decision to have him as my surgeon. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. The only down side to my entire experience was the lack of english speaking nurses. However, Dr. Alvarez supplied me with a list of common requests in English/Spanish and that made it a lot easier to communicate with the staff. We also had Rosie there to help out with translations as well. All in all, an excellent experience!"
