I had my surgery Wednesday september 17th! The surgery went well, I had no complications. Ive been asking for my pain meds regularly. It was more painful than I imagined it being.  Very tiered tho I guess with my body healing and taking pain meds its taking a toll. I'm hoping to get discharged to go home. I really don't have much of an appetite right now. 

Today is 7 days until my WLS!! Im so excited and nervous at the same time!. Today I went to the hosptial where i am having my sleeve surgery done at for pre op testing. Today I also started my liquid diet. Hopefully i can get thru this week without having any problems or cravings! When I went shopping for items for my liquid diet i didnt know what to get :( I have my protein shakes from sams club, i have sugar free jello, and fat free yogurts, italian ices,  i also bought broths. Other than that I didnt know what to get. Any suggestions?

So I started my weight loss journey march 9th and its coming along slowly!! Well not really its just getting all the medical clearances. Actually I went to all my appts except the upper gi series one. I wonder what that is?! Im having a hard time getting cleared by the cardiologist. He wants me to go back for a stress test and a echocardiogram. My starting weight was 282 and then when I went back last week I weighed 289 :( I know what it was it was those dam yummy hostess orange cupcakes couldnt have just 1! I got on the scale today it said 287. The nutritionist then put me on a diet to loose at least 1 lb a week. I am only allowed 1150 calories a day. Its so hard! When I went to my psych eval she told me that im addicted to sugar! Im hoping for a surgery date by august. I chose to get the vertical sleeve. I'm looking to loose about 100-120 lbs.
