"I was very impressed with Dr. Newhoff from the first meeting. He's a very respected and experienced bariatric and trauma surgeon. He has 20+ years of performing this surgical procedure. He provided a very thorough understanding of the procedure and risks as well as post-op pitfalls. He answered all of my questions before I could ask them. He if very upfront on what his expectations are prior to surgery. His staff was very kind, helpful and supportive. Also, Weight for Life has been very helpful and informative throughout the whole approval process. Dr. Newhoff encourages all patients to attend support group sessions held twice per month at Good Sam Hospital. Patients must attend one session prior to surgery. At the moment I'm pre-op so will update more later.
