well hi everyone, it's been a very long time since I have posted on here, in fact it was two weeks before surgery. Well needless to say surgery went wonderful. The two week liquid phase was a little hard mentally because my mind wanted me to eat and my stomach didn't.Honestly I haven't been hungry since I woke up from surgery. The day after my 33rd birthday will be four months out and hopefully by then I will definitely be under 200.  This morning I weighed in at 209.5 and almost screamed. This tool is so amazing, I just regret that I didn't have it done sooner. My sisters are going to be so shocked when they see me for my wedding in december I can't wait to see their expressions, that will truely be a priceless moment. I haven't made up my mind yet if I am going to tell them about the surgery or not. They know that I have been trying very hard to loose weight and it has been hard work. If you think surgery is the easy way out you are sadly mistaken. But it has been so worth it. Ok hopefully it won't take me 3 1/2 months to get back on here and post again. Thanks for supporting my decision, everyone who knew about it.

WELL THERE IS ONE MORE THING I FORGOT TO MENTION. I GOT THE CALL  FROM JAMIE THAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE APRIL 19TH. I HAVE A SURGERY DATE. THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE IS ON JUNE 23RD. IT IS KIND OF HARD TO BELIEVE THAT IS ONLY A LITTLE OVER 2 WEEKS AWAY BUT I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO READY.  I HAVE BEEN PRACTICING SIPPING AND NOT DRINKING  WHILE I EAT AND IT IS REALLY NOT THAT HARD, BUT  IF I WANT TO GULP  I STILL DO SOMETIMES. OK I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED AS TO MY NEW LIFE JOURNEY BEGINS.

HELLO ALL,

    Well on June 4th I attended a couple of appointments. First of all I had to do a test for my psych eval, then I was off to see Jessica the dietician. She was  very nice as are all the staff members at ww. Then I went to see lauren the excercise physiologist for some tips on excersicing, then I saw the very sweet Dr. Keller. He is so easy to talk to and so open minded about so many things I really like him. So I figured while I was there I might as well attent the diet class as it was the final thing I had to do for surgery. 
   I got clearance from everyone to go ahead with the surgery. whooohooooo!
ok just thought I would catch everyone up on what has been happening with my new life journey. Also my parents are visiting me  from louisiana and I told my father about the surgery and he is very supportive as I knew he would be. wish me luck

  Today my cardiologist called and said that my stress test and echo was perfect, so today I have my cardiac clearence.

HI ALL,

   WELL I AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING ALL MY PRE OP THINGS DONE. IT SEEMS LIKE DURING MY SLEEP STUDY THEY FOUND THAT I GET VERY HYPOXIC(LOW OXYGEN LEVELS) WHEN I SLEEP WHICH IS A SIGN OF SLEEP APNEA. HOPEFULLY MY DR. WILL BE WRITING THAT PRESCRIPTION FOR THE C-PAP SHORTLY SO I CAN BE ON IT FOR AT LEAST 2 WKS BEFORE SURGERY. MONDAY THE 12TH I AM HAVING AN EGD, WEDNESDAY I AM HAVING A HEART ECHO, THURSDAY I AM HAVING A NUCLEAR MEDICINE STRESS TEST SO HOPEFULLY I CAN GET MY CARDIAC CLEARANCE  SO THE ONLY THING LEFT IS THE PRE-OP SUPPORT GROUP WHICH I WILL TRY TO ATTEND ON THURSDAY NIGHT. I ALMOST FORGOT I ALSO HAVE TO LOOSE ABOUT 10 MORE POUNDS BEFORE JUNE 13TH.  I NEED HELP IN THIS DEPARTMENT VERY BADLY
PPHHHHEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW THATS A LOT OF STUFF TO HAVE DONE. ALSO I FOUND OUT ON FRIDAY THE 9TH THAT I HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR FINANCING. YYYIIIIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

well it seems dr. Broussard wants me to loose 13 pounds before surgery. I am still very impressed with his bedside manner and his knowledge. I feel very confident in him as my surgeon. I purchased the quick start diet and I am starting it  on tuesday with my fiance. He purchased one as well so it is kind of a race between the two of us. Any way I will let you know how the week goes.

   Yesterday I attended my seminar in Edmond Ok.  Dr. brussard was the attending physician for the seminar. I was very impressed with him and I also felt sort of drawn to him. I thought I would want to go with dr. walton, but after attending dr. brussards talk I am going to go with him as a surgeon. I have an appointment with him on thursday the 24th so hopefully everything will go well and we will get this ball rolling quickly. I am really hoping to have a surgery date set for sometime in early june. ok see ya on my next post.
