This is what I posted under the I am approved thread on the insurance forum, and the LapBand Forum. But since this is my first blog entry, and this is my first major step towards the loser's bench, I thought I'd post it here too. 
I am APPROVED!!!!!
I am soo excited
!!!I am so blessed to be one of the ones to be approved after the first submittal.
I am scheduled for my LapBand on 1/7/08 and I pray for things to continue to go smoothly.
I can't wait to be on the Losers Bench
, so please make room, I will be there soon!!!!***Note to say, that even though I was approved on the first try, I did spend a year doing all the things the insurance company asked me to in order to be approved
.Be proactive
, make your own forms for your docs to fill out if need be, I know I did! Look at everything they chart during your supervised diets, and have them make you a copy after EVERY visit!! DON'T 
be afraid to say what you want and NEED to make this happen!Be patient, jump through the hoops, and you'll be done and approved before you know it. This year flew by, and now I will be banded in no time!!!!
