But who's counting? ME, that's who. I have never felt such a range of emotions in such a short time. One minute I'm elated and on top of the world, the next, I'm looking at my little boys crying my eyes out. I guess this is normal. I'm definitely not second guessing my decision to have wls, but I think being scared is also quite normal. I've never had any type of surgery before, never mind being put under general anesthesia (sp?). That's what scares me the most. I wasn't the least bit scared having my children. Although you hear horror stories about labor and delivery from everyone you know when you are pregnant, (do they think that helps?) I wasn't the least bit scared, this is so different.

As I said 1 week and 1 day...... AND COUNTING!!!

I found out today that my insurance has approved me for gastric bypass surgery. My surgery will be on August 14, 2007. I can't believe I will soon be on my way to healthier me, and on the losers bench!
