6 months out - Diabetes Free!!!!!!!!!!! -  I did it!  Officially off all diabetes meds.  A1c 5.6, haven't had a glucose reading abovre 110 in ... months.  Down 65 lbs in the process.  MIssion accomplished!

2 weeks out -  Went to my family doc yesterday.  A1C 6.2!  Down 23 lbs!  Off almost all diabetes meds!  Woo Hoo!!!

post-op med changes - I've been approved for RnY, and about to set a date.  How soon post-op did your diabetes meds change?  Is it a gradual weaning process or were you off meds right away?
