I've pathetic.  I've been on this post op diet of full liquid and I'm starving.  I won't be able to eat pureed until Nov. 8th and I hope to gosh I don't chew off one of my arms.  I more active and the liquid diet just goes right through and doesn't hold me over.  I know hundreds have done it before me and I'll survive, but I'll never, ever, no way in heck every eat soup again.  I'm doing well, except with occasional dizziness and sweats if I don't eat at least every three hours. I'm wondering about low blood sugar?!  I'm still having a rough go with the top 1/3 of my wound and will have to make another 140 mile round trip to see the surgeon on Wednesday.  Hope the antibiotic hurries up and kicks in.  I've been able to walk one to three times a day here, but weather is going to change and will have to invent some new way of getting my exercise in.  Hope you newbies and "old-timers" are doing well. 

I'm doing my profile and blog months after I joined this site, and 15 days after my RNY.  40y/o got my RN license, first grandchild and bifocals.  At 56 y/o decided that WLS was the tool I needed to help me "have a life" instead of living on the sidelines and watching life go by.  My family is everything to me and they have accommodated me for years because of my obesity.  I pulled off weighing over 300 pounds for may years, but by 50 y/o my back and joints were all in bad shape and I was sidelined.  Everything is my family is celebrated with food.  You have a baby, food! You buy a new car, food! You have an ingrown toe nail, food!  And as soon as I can move my legs well after this open RNY, I'm going to kick my heels and live life!
