I have been overweight all of my life. My wake up moment occured last spring when I didn't fit on a ride at an amusement park. I took a humiliating walk of shame that day. Also after watching a co-worker have knee replacement surgery and the pain she is in, I realized that I will be in that boat eventually. I like my job and I know that I will not be able to do it in another 10 years at this weight. I have all testing completed and everything has been turned in this week to insurance for approval.
