Just got some more info on my mom and it doesn't sound so good. One test was inconclusive and they think she may only have one kindey. She is dehydrated and malnurished. They have increased her liquid intake. I don't know what to say other than that just pray for her that she will cooperate w/ the drs and nurses and stop eating and drinking things that she isn't supposed to be eating and drinking. She needs to get modivated or whatever. well I thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts, Lisa.

I just got back and she seems to be better today. I took her some flowers and she got another Christmas card so that lifted her spirits. The did the ultrasound and we are awaiting the results. They said that we could get them as soon as later today but prob more likely that they won't have the report till tomorrow. They are afraid that her kidneys are failing. If they are and she can't have dialisis (spelling?) then there would be nothing that we can do. For further info just let me know cause I'm sure I'm forgeting something, thanks Lisa.

Hi all I've been talking to the drs and the nurses and there is something wrong w/ her kidneys, they aren't sure what just yet but are having a kidney speicalist come in to check it out. All they know is her kidneys are producing like they should. I will be going up there in the next couple of days and will know more when I'm face to face w/ them and talking to mom. Thanks to all for the prayers and support of all of you it is greatly appriciated. Just keep her in ur thoughts and prayers. Feel free to send cards, thoughts and prayers or even flowers. Since she is in a reg room she can have flowers. I'm going to get some for her tomorrow for her. well thanks again have a nice day, Lisa.

Darlene, I know you have had a long road. I also know that you are a fighter! Keep up the good work and I can't wait until the day you come home and post to all of us for the first time. I have you in my thoughts and prayers that you will continue to recover.
