I'm Darlene. I had the RNY in May 2000. My surgery weight was 257, and by 2004 I was down to 102 lbs. I became ill in 2008 and started to vomit violently. Until then, I had been unable to vomit since my surgery. I also stopped smoking around the time I became ill and within 1.5 years I had gained 90 pounds. As it stands now, I'm 215. I had an EGD in 2010 and was told my pouch had been 'compremised'. Every time I eat, I swell up like a puffer fish and become so nauseated I could die. I have to keep phenergan with me at all times. Hopefully I have found the Surgeon to perform a miracle for me and revise my surgery so I can have a normal life!
