At the 25 lb mark!

As of today, I have lost 25 pounds!!!  102 left to go now!  I have been pretty frustrated this week because the weight was not coming off.  I wasn't supposed to eat solids until Friday but my friend Amy, who had surgery the same day, said that she was able to do it.  It is so much more satsifying.  I think that I was not eating enough calories a day to lose weight on the liquids.  I was consuming 500 calories if I was lucky.  After consuming more calories yesterday, it resulted in a pound lost today.  No complaints here.

Today, my sister is going to her appointment with her primary care doctor to try to get a referral for the lapband.  I have my fingers crossed for her!  I hope to hear from her this afternoon.
