I am almost 28 years old and have been researching WLS off and on for about 4 years. I have high BP, type II diabetes, & asthma. I had done a lot of research on the laproscopic RNY procedure and went to multiple info sessions. For whatever reason at the time it just didn't feel right. Around that time the Lap-Band was still not being covered by most insurance companies. I mostly forgot about it but would think about it from time to time. This spring a friend I've known since we were in Girl Scouts together got a Lap-Band. Seeing how well it worked for her inspired me to start the WLS process again and here I am!
