"My first impression of Dr. Koura and his staff was a very comfortable and pleasant one. Everyone was friendly and answered any questions that I had. This impression has not changed and I am 9 months out. The only bad thing was the long drive for me, but that was due to my insurance. I would recommend Dr. Koura to anyone considering gastric bypass. He is hands on in his aftercare. You see him at each office visit unlike several others that have you see an assistant. His office is there if you have any questions and he has a dietician on staff always willing to help. He addresses the risks of surgery and also the different types available. Me, I rate him a 10+. I think surgical competence and bedside manner are both outstanding. "
