Hello All
My name is Dawn. I'm 27 years old (2009). I currently had Lap Band Surgery on 01/26/2009. So I'm still recovering and getting used to all this. It didn't take me long to get approved. My requirement thru my insurance was a 90 day weight management and that was conducted thru True Results. The process was so easy to me. When I first started I actually found out i was 6 weeks pregnant the following week. But unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage. And one of the factors for loosing the baby was my weight. That is when I knew going thru with the process was a must. My first pregnancy went really well but I was also 70 lbs lighter. The smallest I have been is 180 and that was my senior year in high school. The largest I have been is 320lbs. I have struggled with my weight pretty much all my life. Even as a child. My father passed away in 2003 from being morbidly obese, high blood pressure and a heart attack. So my health is very important.
Having this surgery probably is the best tool I could ever have. I'm still a newbie but I'm learning a lot as I go. I look forward to accomplishing a lot and setting a lot of goals. I think this website will be a great help as well.
