"I can recommend Dr. Todd McCarty without reservation. He conducts himself very professionally, but is also very relaxed and refreshingly honest. He acts as though he has all the time in the world and patiently answers all questions. He realistically presents the pros and cons of surgery and emphasizes that it is a tool - not a cure. He strongly supports aftercare and is currently assimilating his team - psychiatrist, nutritionist, social worker, etc. He is in the process of beginning the WLS clinic at Baylor Med Center in Dallas, so the program is still in the "birthing" stage. He is very interested in feedback from his patients. His surgical competence is excellent (oncology, general, head and neck, etc., etc.). His bedside manner is relaxed and encouraging. As the program is established, the aftercare (support groups, nutritional advice, etc.) will only improve. I rate him a 10+!"
