 So on day 12 I ate some stuff that didn't agree with me and ended up purging....Yesterday my right scope site started causing me pain.  Not all the time but most of the time.  It is a burning pain and man sometimes it knocks the wind right out of me.  Today I am just taking it easy and resting and it doesn't hurt as much.  
Went and got weighed yesterday at my GP's and I only lost a pound this week.  Needless to say I was disappointed.  In fact, I got off the scale and back on just to see.  But I can't let it get me down...a pound is a pound and that makes a total of 12 post op.

Walking every day has been great in helping recoup.  It's also been an activity the whole family has been partaking in!  The first week I've lost 11 pounds.  I'm just a few pounds from where I was when I got married! 
I look forward to every day and what is new out there waiting for me. 

 So far things are going good...went for my venture out yesterday for a small walk, then decided to go visiting and then went for a longer walk in the evening...it's true walking does help!

 I've had enough of walking around the house and am planning to go out and about for a nice walk.  Walking is the quickest way to heal...

 Had my surgery on March 17 and came home yesterday.  Some one on the forum said it feels like a 1000 situps and boy are they right.  Feeling good today but can't wait to feel myself...hopefully that will be in about a week...

Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life....

 So since Friday Mar. 5 I've been on a liquid diet...4 cans a day of Glucerna...Yesterday was the first time since that I really missed food and had time to reflect about what I'm getting into...I thought surgery was something I really wanted and that I could give up eating but this liquid diet made me question myself...DO I want to give up food and I know I'll still be able to eat but I won't be able to eat what I want and how much I want...WOW who would have thought...but I realize now that it was just one of those weak moments and thankfully I didn't crack...

My story began on Feb 5, 2007 when I submitted my application to the Weight Wise Clinic after I finally had enough of being obese and trying to overcome it on my own.  I realized that I needed professional help.  
After waiting a year and a half I finally got the call to come to the clinic. 
Since that first appointment I have been constantly forced to see myself, my life, my expectations in a whole new light and some times it wasn't what I wanted to face....
