Starting optifast in 5 days

On the 7th of June I start the Optifast.  It really started to hit me yesterday when I was having lunch with my daughter and I said to her...after Tuesday, I will never eat the same again.  It has been such a long journey for me, almost  2 years and my surgery is scheduled for June 21st.   I am very excited to begin this new chapter in my life and to be able to enjoy it, but it is also a bit scarey too.  As they always say familiar is comfortable and I am about to step out of my comfort zone and totally change my life. My husband has planned a birthday party for me this saturday so that I can eat birthday cake...one more time.  My actual birthday is June 11, right in the middle of my optifast time.   If anyone has any ideas of things to do with the optifast to make it more enjoyable, I would love to hear from you. 

As I said to my husband the other day, I will never be this size again, its all downhill from here!
