Tomorrow marks 12 weeks since I had my Lap-Band surgery.  I'm so happy to be down 55 1/2 lbs!  (That is including the amount I lost on the 2 week liquid diet.)  Today is also the first time I've populated my profile and added a picture.  My avatar is me at 211.5 lbs taken on my cell phone last night.  I still need to add a before picture but this is still a big step for me.  My next goal is to get under 200 lbs.  Once I do, I've decided that my daughter and I are going to go and get pictures taken together.  We used to do that every year until I was too embarassed to see myself.

I have a good friend that works for one of our sister plants in Ohio.  Right after I came back to work around Christmas, I confided in her that I had been on medical leave because I had Lap-Band surgery.  She told me she'd just been approved for it.  I didn't even know she was thinking of it.  Well, today she finally got her surgery date and I am thrilled for her!  I know she'll do great!
