"Dr. Alvarez is an excellent surgeon. He has a good bedside manner. I had surgery with Dr. A on October 13, 2009 and on October 14, 2009, I was up walking the halls and I even felt like I was never operated on, except for a little soreness. I would recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone who wants the VSG surgery. The hospital is great and they come check on you constantly. My friends and family wanted to check out surgeons who performed the VSG near my home, but after research I would vote Dr. A hands down. He was my first choice, and I made him my last choice, and proud that I did. I wish everyone out their luck in their procedures for weight loss and good luck for a new thinner life."
