I've lost 80 pounds since surgery and feel like a new person.  Friends and family comment on my physical change, but are also amazed how much happier I have become.  I engage life with a "bring it on" attitude and did not realize how much energy I was expending before surgery just to drag through my day.  I knew my body was breaking down at a rapid pace, but had felt bad for so long I forgot what feeling good was like.  Now I know again and plan to use the renewed strength God and medical advancements have provided to never become the "old me" again.  My prayer is everyone on this site can find the right tool to help them achieve the peaceful happiness I now enjoy.  Whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP.  If you "fall off the wagon", pick yourself up and jump back on the wagon.
