2/19/1o WLS and PS has changed my life wouldn't changed it for anything in the world. I have healed and look and fine great!!!! Recovery for me was easy and pain free(keep your pain medicine in your system every 4 hours as needed) nothing major to me but I have a high tolarice for pain. The more you move the easier it gets. I had my PS on a Friday and was pickin my kids up from school on Monday.
11/6/09 Went in at 7:00 a.m. Everything went great!!!! Dr. removed 8 lbs. of skin!!!! I'm 1 week post-op and feel fine everything looks good.
10/06/09 Went in for my surgery and guess what it was cancelled due to i'l very anemic. So we are gonna build up my iron and try again on the 6th of nov.......
10/06/09 I went in for my finale consult we decided on a breast lift with 450cc mentor memory gel silicone implants monderate plus profile smooth and tummy tuck. I have to be at the sergery center on Oct. 16th at 7:30 a.m wish me luck and have me in your prayers. As soon as I'm up and about I will fill everyone in on the post-op recovery.
09/17/09 Everything went as I hoped. For TT and Breastlift w/ implants with anst. and hospital fees the grand total is $10,720.00......I applied for a surgeryloan.com and within 2 day's I was approved!!!!! I have another consult with DR. Shell on Oct. 1st to decide what size implants but, i have on my own and from reseach to go with 500cc cohesvice gel silicone implants. Also to go with an high round textured profile under the muscule. Yes I never knew there was soo many choices to make with implants. I dont know the name brand yet but. I'm will to bet he uses Mentor Brand.

I'm going to see an Cosmetic Surgeon Friday 11th. I was told over the phone for an breast lift and tummy tuck i will have to pay $10,000.00 give or take a few. I am a 32 year old female who has had her life changed due to WLS!! I am very happly married and have two wonderful children. I started my WLS at 270 lbs. It has now been 11 months and I am 164lbs. My goal wieght is 150 lbs. So I'm not far away. All together I have loss 106 lbs. I have had no problems with my WLS!!! Thank YOU LORD!!!

It has been a year and I have loss a total of 110 lbs!! I have 10 more to go for my goal weight..!
It has been 2 years since my journey began and I have never regretted for a moment the decison I made!!!! I thank the LORD for seeing me through it all and my family. They are whom I did this for so I can be with them and be active in there lives. I know weight in at 154 lbs.

The Very Begining of my Journy!!!!!!
8/14/05 I went to Dr. Woodman's seminar today. I was given an appointment for 10/21/05. I was also given a little list of papper work I need to get from my doctor so we can get it to the insurance paople so I can get an approval then I will be on my way yah!!!!
9/6/05 I went to my O.B. doctor today she is getting my papper work together along with an referral. Also I have to have an ultrasound the 9th possiable gallstones they are KILLING ME!! If it isn't that I really have to find out WHAT it is I'll let u know but, I'm pretty sure it is.
9/9/05 I had my ultrasound done today I do have gallstones. I'm
waitting on my OB to get the results and call to set up a date to have it removed.
9/23/05 Dr. Woodman's office called today my appointment was moved up to 10/10/05 yay.... I also went and had my Psychological assessment done today. I guess everything went o.k. I wasn't LOCKED UP!!LOL
Dr.Amos is very nice and easy to talk too. He makes sure you know what your getting yourself into and what to exspect afterwards.
9/26/05 I went to see my doctor that will be removing my gallblander this Friday thank goodness I'm tired of the pain! Wish me well.
10/1/05 I'm home safe and sound thank the Lord. Everything went fine with my gallblader removal I had a little pain when I came out after that it was easy going I went in at 9:00 a.m. and was home by 2:00 p.m. My right side and middle stomach area is very sore I have some trouble getting up from a sitting or laying position. Other than that I'm great.
10/5/05 My appointment with Dr.Woodman is Monday I can't wait I'm so excited!!!!!!!!
10/12/05 Went to my appointment with Dr. Woodman. I passed him in the hall but was not seen by him I saw Cindy she let me watch a tape about Gasstric Bypass then we went over what I need to get done which is get my nutritional assessment then we can send in my papper work to the insurance company and wait for my approval or NOT then go from there. Cindy gave me a chart of what we all sould be eatting and to NOT drink with my meals. Wish ME LUCK!!!***
10/22/05 I have my appointment with Megan Murphy the nutritionalist 11/4/ then I can send in my papper work. Can't WAIT!!!
11/05/05 I went to see Mrs. Murphy today everything went fine she went over what to be ready for after WLS. How to eat and how many vitamin and supplements I will have to take. My paper work will be sent in some time next week. Wish me luck...I hope I know something by Thanksgiving!
11/10/05 Called Dr. Woodmans office they are going to get my papper work in this week. I hope the insurance dosn't take forever on letting me know SOMETHING!!!
12/1/05 Still NO news but, come to find out due to myself going out of state my insurance claim went to TN ( I live in the tri-state area so it was closer to go out of state). So in return they have to send it to AR that's what's taking a little longer so surely by Christmas I will know something.
12/9/05 Great news Dr. Woodmans office called (Cindy). I was APPROVED for WLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an appointment to have my testing done next week then we go from there I will keep you postted. Thank you LORD!!!
12/15/05 Dr. Woodmans office called to get me in to do my pre-op testing. I got that out of the way yeasterday and today. Never been pokked so much in my life but it's better to be safe than sorry. So all I'm waitting on is for the results to get to the office then I will be called for my 2 hour meeting with the Doc and I should get my surgery date. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
12/22/05 Went to see the Doc. so everything is sit my wls date is January 23, 2006 at 7:30 a.m at Baptist East. I have lost 2 lbs. not bad he wont's me to lose 10 more befor surgery so it will be easier on me. So wish me luck and say a little prayer for me.
1/12/06 11 DAYS to go before my WLS!!!!
1/27/06 I went in for my wls Mon.23rd at 5:30 a.m. It didn't start tell 8:30. My husband said I was gone about 2 hours. I woke up in recovery in pain I was given pain med. Then I was moved to my room wear I had to move myself to the bed that HURT like HE!! I stayed druged up all day. I would Not hesatate to tell them to give me pain med. That evening I had to get up and walk my husband helpped out so much going to potty and walking. All I could have was ice chips to suck on for 2 days. The 24th I was up and sitt in the chair and walked 3 times that day not counting around my room. Still on pain med. Took my leak test that day everything was FINE but, I didn't get my liguids untill the next morning. The 25th I got my liquids sipped some cranberry it was to tart but i did get 3 oz'z down before thet took my tray. The Doc came in asked how everything was going and told me I could go home. So I have been home for 6 days and I am doing great!!! Getting better every day still sore but it lessens every day. Still on a liqiud diet for know no problems there at all. I thought when my family would eat it would make me hungry but it dosn't which is good cause they have bein eatting some good food. I"ll let everyone know how it goes when I go to pureed food. I have LOSTED 15lbs. since the 23rd!!!!Just 6 days!!!!
1/1/06 I have been on pureed food for 3 day's now and haven't had any problems. I'm doing everything I was told even the excerising a mile a day yayyyy.
1/6/06 I went to my follow up appointment everything is going great. I have no appatite but DOC said that was normal it will come back sooner or later to not eat if I'm not hungry. I have lost 30 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2/13/06 I'm 8 weeks post op and I have stalled on my weight. I have lost 40lbs. and I have just stopped. I walk 1 mile every other day. So what's the deal but, I do hear it's normal to stall so I just have to wait it out. Every thing is going fine other than stalling.
3/19/06 The scales have startted moving agin!!! I stepped up my walkin and drank more water. So I am now at 226 lbs!!!!!!!!!(44lbs. gone) Never thought I would see this numbers agin or so soon!!***

4/10/06 I had to have exsploratory surgery Friday the 7th due to stomach cramps and burnning I was having above my navel. Dr. W. said its better to be safe than sorry it may have been an obstruction or hernia. So I was put to sleep and had 3 1/2 inch insecions. Thank the LORD there was nothing wrong everything looked great!!! So if the problem keeps up he will go down my throat with a scope and look at the inside work. I have had NO hurtting since I have came home and pray it stays that way!! Dr. W. told my husband it could of been an air pocket.
4/23/06 Today is my 3 month post-op WLS and I have loss the total of 59 lbs. NOT bad for 3 months!!!!!!!!!! Everything is wonderful!!!
5/23/06 Today is my 4 month post-op WLS and I have lost 70 lbs. It was a little slow I only lost 11 lbs. this month. Everything is going great no problems at all.
6/23/06 Today was is my 5 month post-op WLS and I have loss the total of 10 lbs. this month making my wight lost total 80 lbs. which makes me wight inn at 190 lbs. I cant believe it. I have had NO problems what so ever other than I can NO longer eat hamburgers they just DO NOT agree with me at ALL. They will surly be missed.
7/23/06 I'm 6 months out today and I my wieght is 182 lbs. I have loss 8 lbs. this month. The total of 88 lbs. GONE! Everything is great I go to my 6 months Dr. appointment tomarrow at 1:30. I'll let everyone know what his scale said but it should be the same as mine it always has been.
7/24/06 I went for my check-up EVERYTHING is as it should be. Yay. Chat with everyone next month. God Bless everyone on thier WLS!!!
8/23/06 Today is my 7 month post-op and I wiegh in at 175 lbs. I have loss 7 lbs. this month the GRAND TOTAL of -95 lbs!!!!. It's getting harder and harder to losse. I have to have the other 25 lbs. off before my year is up that's my goal 150lbs. smaller if I can do it I know I can!! Wish me LUCK!!
9/2/06 Well I'm down to a size 16 pants, xl shirts, 40 D and 8 in panties. I have NOT seen those numbers since high school!!! My goal weight is 145 lbs. So I have 30 lbs. to GO!!!!
9/23/06 Today is my 8th month post-op and I have loss NOTHING!!! I'm so upset with myself but, I have been doing alot less excersising so that's what I get!! I did loss 5lbs. and a week later it was back that was very weird. I'm not gonna let this get me down next month will be better.!!! Maybe my body needed a brake so it can adjust to the changes. Wish me luchek!!!
10/22/15 I'm blessed and still very happy with my life changing WLJ and always will b. I currently work with the Dept of Justice as an Food Service Adminstrative Assistant (of all things Food) and love my job. My family is happy and healthy (thank u lord). Current weight 170 lbs.
