Ok....now I'm see sawing. What the heck?! Down to 138...up to 140...down to 139...up to 142...143...down to 141...down to 139. Up down, up down the same 4-5 pounds. So frustrating. Size....sometimes an 8 sometimes a 10.
Hoping to see about 10 more pounds weightloss by 3 year surgery anniversary date in September 2010.

Back in the losing game
Oct 13, 2009
Well....I haven't done anything differently but all of a sudden I'm seeing a new weight loss cycle. Nothing dramatic but after a year of only losing 14 pounds....up four....down three....up two....down one..... Now I'm back to losing about a pound week. In the past three weeks, I've lost about 5 pounds. I am now seeing 149 on the scale!!!!
I approach weight loss in 10 pound increments. It seems to be the easiest way to tackle it. Fighting and working on 10 pounds as a time seems really doable.
Size 10!!! Bought my first pair of black skinny jeans size 10 for a cruise this month. I felt so good wearing them!
My next size goal is an 8. This will be my milestone. Wearing a size with a single digit.

Two year surgery anniversary
Sep 06, 2009
Friday, September 11th will be my two year anniversary since surgery. Although my weight loss has dramatically slowed down I am still losing very slowly. I've lost another 15 pounds this year and I'm 15 pounds from my goal weight of 135lbs.
Still pleased with surgery results. It's the best thing I ever decided to do and worth every penny of my savings to pay for it out of pocket rather than weight at the mercy of uncaring insurance companies who continued to look for loop holes not to approve surgery. I'm glad I took the decision for my health out of their hands.

Finally under 160
Feb 20, 2009
It's taken four months to get under 160. That's been the hardest thing! Losing weight steadily until about September and then almost nothing or seesawing back and forth over the same 5-8 pounds! :-(
It seems that these last 20 pounds are absolutely the hardest.

Stuck in the 60's

Okay...I've been yo yo ing around in the low 160's for about two 1/2 months now. I can't seem to budge it down. I think this is typical but it sure is frustrating! I'm making it my mission to drop five pounds before the end of the year.

Okay...I'm in the 160's and now I'm shooting for a number with a "5" in the middle. I'm still in some size 14s but I just bought a new pair of jeans in a size 12 and they FIT! My new mascot is the turtle. Slow and steady wins the race. It's just that darn loose skin that is still so disgusting!
I want to look good in and out of my clothes but I'm starting to think that even with plastic surgery some of what I want is unrealistic. Scars or loose skin...there are days when I'm not sure which is worse.

Back to School

Okay,
I made it through the summer months and actually looked forward to bathing suit weather. I've hit my next personal goal which is to be in the 160's. I'm at a size 14 and loving shopping. In fact, I know I have a problem. I have an addiction to clothes.
Not a bad habit if you can afford it...most of the time I can't but with the money I save on groceries I think it all evens out in the end.
Wrinkles are still a problem. Who knew you could have a wrinkled butt before you had a wrinkled face? !
I can't wait to hit my goal weight and maintain it so I can move forward with plastic surgery to tighten everything up.
