I've been heavy since I was 13. I'm 55 years old now (56 in February) and finally decided to do something about it. My inspiration was my girlfriend who had it done 2 years ago, and now looks absolutely fabulous! Whenever I see her I am stunned to see this thin person wearing beautiful clothes that look so great on her.
I can't wait to feel good about myself...feel healthy, feel more confident, feel more sexy. I lost all of that as the years went on and I piled the weight on. I am so excited about this operation. I cannot wait to have it done.
I have "fat" clothes from size 28 down to size 20 that I will be able to wear as I lose the weight. And in anticipation of my great weight loss, I bought a couple of pieces of clothing in size large and even medium which I know I will be wearing someday. How's that for confidence now?
