August 17, 2003 --- leak is gone, but still sporting my Jackson drain, which is draining 'stuff'. So, complications continue. Back home again, by the way. Had to go in for a week due to problems with severe dehydration. So, I'm still not out of the woods yet. Prayers please.

Cathy, Your in my thoughts and prayers...you made the right decision. My bmi is same as yours so I can truly empathize with you. It will be fine...keep your spirits up and think how nice it will be to be thin and able to do so many things you can't do now....woohoo...

Cathy, Sorry you have developed a leak. Wish I had specific words of advice but since I am still pre-op I have only generalities. Aas you know, the best thing to do is get rest - the body recovers so much faster when it is resting. Also, KNOW that you are surrounded by angels sent to you because of the hundreds of prayers that are going up for you. God bless and I hope you are home soon. {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}
