In the package you get from the doctor's office in Moncton it states that if you are a severe case that you will have your surgery within 6 months of your first call.  Anyone heard of this happening?

So I finally got a call after almost 5 years, then when I went for my appointment I was told that it would be about 8 months before I got into the information session and then another year after that before I got the surgery.  Does this sound right?

Does anyone know what procedure causes "dumping?"  I have heard and read many different stories.  I got my call yesterday from Moncton.  I have a booklet that says that from the day you get the call it can be 6 to 12 months before you actually have the
