I am doing well! I've lost a total of 51 pounds from my highest weight of 305 and a total of 25 pounds since my surgery on October 10, 2014.

I am a compulsive overeater. That is the primary reason why my weight loss efforts have failed so miserably in the past. I have always known how to make wise food choices but overeating still sabotaged my efforts.  My nutritionist and my surgeon both said WLS is just a tool. I don't think I ever understood what that meant until now. I am four weeks post-op and what I'm loving about my sleeve is I can no longer overeat. For the first time in my whole life I eat like a "normal" person! For that I am so very grateful!

I am so excited that my outcome is in sync with my input!!! Thanks to the VSG I am seeing results. I lost 19 pounds pre-op and now 14 days post-op I have lost 14.75 pounds. A total weight loss of 33.75 pounds.  Woot!!!
