I am a 36 yr old wife and mother of 2 girls, ages 13 and 16. i have been over weight most of my life. but until now it has only been a problem for me. I have gotten 2 where my back and knees hurt, i get out of breath easy. my kids love 2 play sports and i can't. i want 2 be healthy, so i have friends and family who have had the Lap-Band so now i am going 2, i hope. I have been in the program since march the 28th 2008, so i am about done with the waiting for my insurance 2 pay, i meet back with my surgern august the 28th, then i will know when we r a go for it. I have no worries or fears, i just hope 2 be able 2 shop for real cloths soon.well i get 2 have my surgery, i am so happy, so here is 2 the new life i will enjoy.
