"I first met Dr. Nease at one of the seminars. He is a pleasant man, not in a hurry, took time to answer questions. He explained everything in detail in words that we all could understand.rnThe next time I saw Dr. Nease was at the office for my first visit. He was still down to earth, took his time to answer all my questions. He made me aware of all the risks of surgery. The staff is wonderful, they always return my calls within 24 hours, we must remember that they run a busy office and can't answer all calls the moment the call is made. The office staff is great, they try to answer any questions I have. Some of them have had bariatric surgery, so they know what we are going to go through. I was denied by my insurance company over a year ago, and have since got different insurance that approved me for the adjustable lap band. I am scheduled for the surgery on October 1,2008. I talked to Jackie today and she will be sending me a schedule of visits I need to make before the surgery date. I am looking forward to the surgery. I have high blood pressure, diabetes, and back problems and am hoping if I lose weight with this wonderful tool, that I will get to take less medication and will be able to function better.UPDATE: On Oct. 1, 2008 Dr. Nease performed the Realize Band surgery on me. He came to the surgery holding are to check on me, to answer any questions I might have had. After the surgery, he popped in to check on me again and to explain my post-op orders. I still think he is a wonderful physcian."
