3 Weeks Out
Aug 18, 2011
I am down around 30 lbs. This is what they estimated. I stalled for like 3 days and then dropped a pound and a half in a day. Seeing the nutritionist today, I am already eating some pureed. Anyways I am feeling very good and going back to work next week (desk job).

Two Weeks Out

Hi Everyone:
Very pleased with my recovery, still draining slightly from the main laproscopic entry point. Other than that no issues. Had my staples out which helps, they came out real easy. I weigh 292 down from 317 just before surgery.
Looking forward to being in my 280's in the next week or so. Havent been in my 280's for like five years.
I have not experienced being really tired except when I went for a long walk.

3 days out

Hello Everyone:
Had Gastric Bypass with Dr. Czerniak at UMASS Memorial. It's been three days and I feel pretty good considering. I take a percoset every 4-5 hours and that helps. I would say my pain is 2-3 on a scale of 1 - 10.
The staff at Memorial were well trained, professional and courteous. They certainly have my thanks. Although my first night my roomate was a Bi Polar man. He was totally out of it and a nurse sat in a chair at the end of his bed all night to make sure he didn't get up.
My weight before surgery was around 317. Today it is under 313.
