Dalton-good luck, and remember to get up after your surgery as soon as you can and walk, walk, walk! Follow your new pouchie's rules, and concentrate on developing new eating habits-take it slow! As a new postie, I'm learning how important it is to listen to your body during this time of healing. Rest when you need to, get your water and other allowable fluids in, and take your temp ever so often just in case you develop a fever, which is a sign of infection. When you talk to your doc or nurse in the hospital, ask questions, like what to look out for and what is normal. Do those things, and take care, and your body will lose weight. Good luck and peace-Rjaye.
