Same fat story, up and down weights for the better part of my 46 years ! As time goes on so does the upward numbers and the decrease in health so at this point, I'm that person I don't want to be!!!!!! The fat lady, with High blood pressure, diabetes, Gerd, arthrites along with the lovely depression and other things! I can't wait to have my RNY! I compleated all of my pre surgical consults and am medically cleared with all!! 
I have been going to classes since December 07, but have to wait bc of the BCBS of De. documentation of weight loss attempts, So i'm hopefully looking at a June surg. date. Got a tenative surgical date, June 5th, second surgical consult appt. may 15th. following the requirements
May 21,2008 Out of curiosity, I called the Dr. office to see if they had submitted the paper work, but of curse hey were at lunch. So, I called the insurance co. to see if they had recived the paper work for wls approval. To my surprise they recieved the paperwork just the day before and I was told that the procedure has been approved!!!!!!!!!! I'm very excited and shocked that the approval was so quick, So it looks like my surgical date will be June 5,2008!!!!!!!!!
