I am 48 years old and have seriously tried ever diet known to mankind! I even spent 2000.00 for the Lindora Medical Clinic. Nothing helped. I would lose weight and then gain the weight back and more. It has become harder and harder to lose it. My doctor is very supportive of the surgery, unfortunately my insurance company is not! I have filed two appeals with them and they keep denying them. So now I have to switch my insurance company and find a new primary doctor and start all over with him. Once I have the surgery I can switch back to my other insurance company and continue to see my regular doctor. That is the bad part, it makes me so mad that my current insurance company will not cover this! June 1 is the date I switch and will find another primary doctor, I have the surgeon picked out already, I just hate that I have to start from scratch with a new primary. Oh well, it will be worth it in the end! My neice is Stacey H who signed up on the website a few days ago. She is going to have the surgery also. Even though we don't live near eachother we still support eachother!!! I recently tore my acl and tore both sides of my ligaments in my left knee. They do not want to do surgery on my knee because of my weight. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and depression! My husband and my kids are very supportive of me, which is good. I just want to be around to see my grandkids and have fun with them. I am tired of not having any energy (oh I also suffer from sleep apnea). Well, that is my story for now. I will write more when I can.
