I am Donna. I am 44 years old, with three grown children. I will be having the roux-en-y gastric bypass surgery on August 26, 2008. It seems like the closer the surgery gets the more scared I get. I have thought about doing this for more than 20 years, but last year I was diagnosed with diabetes and that is when I made the decision to do it.
