Counting down the hours till surgery!

My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am Monday, 8/23 at St. Mary's in SF with Dr. Rabkin. Not really scared about the surgery at all. Truth is, I've been so busy for the last two weeks getting my job tasks in order and training the temp that I haven't had time to be nervous... YET! :-)

Tonight my husband and I went to Vitamin Shoppe and tried about 10 different ready-to-drink protein drinks. Well, blechhh is all I can say, but I wasn't expecting too much. I used to have Designer Protein chocolate protein shakes every morning with a bit of strong brewed coffee mixed in (and REALLY enjoyed it), so I got some of that protein powder as well. Won't be able to have caffeine for a few weeks, but at least I can trust that I will like the flavor of DP chocolate.

I just can't believe I'll be having my surgery in just a little over a month since first discovered the existence of the D/S! When I make up my mind about something (after having done my due diligence), I waste no time. Because of this board and what I've learned about the D/S, I feel more hopeful than I have in years!
