Faxton - St Lukes Healthcare (COE)

"Anyone who thinks they will rest in a hospital, in general, has to be nuts. However, St. Luke's had construction going on which made it noisier. The staff were very helpful, but busy and sometimes slow to get you what you needed. The nurses and aides were great, though. I had a great stay, all being considered. "

William Graber

"Dr. Graber is great. He has a, shall we say, 'interesting' personality. No nonsense here - which is good because if you have even the remotest concern or problem he is seeing you or getting tests done. His office staff is very helpful no matter what you need. I think the monthly support groups he hosts are great, but I think aftercare could be stepped up a bit on the part of the patient. I chose to enter counseling prior to surgery to get me through this, and it has helped me immensely. I would recommend all patients go to counseling on their own. Dr. Graber was very up front about all of the risks and complications, even though his 'statistics' are very good. I would rate Dr. Graber a 9 out of 10. Mainly a 9 because I think he should be more strict about mental health counseling for his patients after surgery. With regard to bedside manner, Dr. Graber is respectful but he does not come off as a 'warm' person in general, but I prefer his competence over bedside manner every day. He is blunt about everything, which I love. Again...no nonsense here! "
