Here's my story I think it will sound like a lot of people's. I am a 35 year old woman. I started gaining weight when I was around 10 years old. I wasn't overly over weight I just weighed more than I should have and than what is healthy. But as I was going through school I just kept putting the weight on until I weighed 220 lbs my senior year of high school. I stayed at that weight until I was 25 and I got pregnant. Then of course I put on even more weight. But after I had my baby the weight never came off. I would go on different diets lose 20 lbs here or there. But I would gain back eventually. Then about 2 years ago I started thinking about WLS. It took me a long time to decide if it was for me or not I was 264 before surgery. I was frustrated because I am the biggest person in my family. I can't run or play with my daughter like I had wanted to as a mom. So I decided to take the leap to a healthier life. I needed that so called push in the right direction. Needed the tools to help me. I have had some post surgery complications but I still have lost the most weight ever in my life and I feel like I am on the right track now. I feel like it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
