I'm 3 months out and down 44lbs! I haven't  been excercising as much as I should. I think I would lose more if I did; however, I'm still happy with the results. I still battle my old habits--it's not an easy fight! One great thing is that I have no desire to eat sweets anymore. I used to have a huge sweet tooth and after making a couple bad choices post-op, I have no desire to put that stuff in my body again! Yikes! I'll updated my pictures soon--I am so happy with the changes!

I am so happy with the results so far. I haven't had any problems and I've lost 30+ lbs. The changes are so exciting and eating differently hasn't been a problem. I took some time off from work after my surgery to get used to everything. I could have returned to work sooner than I did, but I'm glad I had the time to recoup. So far, so good!!

I'm two days post-op and feeling great! Ok, maybe not "great" but I'm really not too bad--especially after the pain meds kick in. :-) My DH is awesome and my 8 year old doing his best to help. I haven't had any problems and my pain is only at a 1 one or so with meds. I miss the kind nurses at the hospital, but it's good to be home.
 

So, tomorrow I start my pre-op liquid diet. It's ten days of nothing but high protein beverages, juice, etc. It should be interesting....

Well, my surgery is scheduled for Feb 2, 2007. I am so excited and nervous all at the same time.....

I just found out today that my insurance has approved my surgery. I'm relieved and happy that I'm one step closer. I'm still nervous about having the surgery, but I know it's the best decision that I can make for myself and for my family.
