it sure has been a long time since i posted..! As of today which is a lil over 5 mos out.. I am down 50 pounds and loving the fact that it is still coming off.. Slowly but surely..! I still don't think i am at full restriction.. I had my 4Th fill on the 2Nd of this month and in the 5 weeks between fills i managed to loose 12 pounds... should have been like 15 but it was my TOM... ya how lovely is that..! I am very happy with my progress so far.. I just need to make better choices.. My goal is to loose 100 pounds the first year.. and that just so happens to land on my 30Th birthday too... So ya i have 50 pounds to loose in 7 mos... i should be able to tackle that.... if not as long as I am close i will be truly happy..!

So.. I was banded on the 3rd of october and everything has gone really well... I really did not have that much pain while in the hospital... I mean I had some pain... shoot I had just had surgery..! but I was home like 26 hours later..! I really did not take the pain med's they send you home with..! I was walking about 3 hours after surgery to keep myself moving..! I had my surgery on a Friday and went back to work on Wednesday..! I still have A LIL pain in the port site but thats about it..! I have lost 23 pounds so far and trying to work at that..! So I love my band

Well it looks like my surgery date is going to be pushed back... I had my echo on thursday and... I dont think I am going to get into my primary to get her clearance until next week so... maybe sometime in october.... man I soooo did not want that to happen but what can you do? Not a whole lot! But i know that this journey is about to happen and that I have to just sit back and let it happen... see I am not good at that kind of stuff... I am the person who has to know... what?why?when? where....Lol but I will keep everything posted.......

So I finally decided..This question has been driving a sister crazy... I chose to hopefully have the lap-band surgery 9-18-2008 I was already approved for the RNY but I have done alot of research and I am choosing to see if the bad will get approved too. I am leaving this one up to god and the inc. company.... So keep your fingers/toes crossed.... Alot of my decison is based on my Daughter whom is 6 I dont want to leave her behind So I will work extra hard on the tool that I am going to be given..... =o)
